Dear Fellow Parchers,
Firstly, I'd like to thank Stephen for without him this website would not have been created. Secondly, I would like to thank you for visiting Simply Unique Parchment.
I started parching as a hobby 4 years ago. I found that I really enjoyed it and although my first efforts weren't great I stuck at it and began to improve over time. I am self taught and started to learn different techniques just by practicing for hours on end. I joined an online site where I showed my work and in time they would ask "have you got a pattern for this". It took me a while but eventually I did design some patterns. That is when I decided I wanted to do it as more than just a hobby. I have enjoyed designing each and every design and if you enjoy making them half as much as I did then what more could I ask.
I have had patterns published in Parchment Craft magazine which has been a great achievement.
I have placed some of my first attempts at parching in the Gallery section. I hope that when you look at them it will inspire you to keep going with your own parching because "if I can do it so can you".
I also regularly add patterns to the Free Patterns section that you can download for free, they are for personal use only.
I hope you find my patterns an inspiration to you.
